Fistula Repair Campaign

This is an opportunity to collaborate in providing care for women with fistulas in the Vanga region of the Democratic Republic of Congo. An experienced Congolese fistula specialist who has helped lead these annual campaigns, will guide the effort. The team will depart from the USA on Wednesday, July 15, and return on Thursday, July 30. We plan to operate on up to 40 patients at Vanga Evangelical Hospital. For more information, please contact us via email. Team participants should be experienced fistula surgeons, anesthesiologists, or operating room nurses. French language proficiency is highly preferred. A willingness to serve in uncertain and humble circumstances, as well as a passion for teaching others, are essential qualities. A deep faith and desire to serve the least of these in the name of Jesus Christ are the cornerstone of this trip.
